Roles taken in the group:
I felt my abilities leaned far more towards generating ideas at this time, mainly because I still find using programmes like Illustrator and Photoshop difficult and time-consuming, which would have caused inconvenience to the rest of my group. Obviously I will need to spend time learning how to use these programmes in my own time, so it would not become problematic for group work.
How well I feel I performed:
I feel I put forward some valuable ides, essential for the development of the project towards the final stages.
How well we worked as a group.
I think we worked very efficiently to reach potential end results...once we had actually determined the direction our brief was aimed in we quickly managed to draw up large quantities of ideas and concepts.
Positives of thinking in a group:
- Produced 5 varied opinions, partially because were all from different places and backgrounds
- allowed me to get used to working in this particular way, something which I have not done before.
- allowed me to be more open-minded about the opinions of others, as without teamwork we would have been unable to complete the task.
Negatives of working in a group:
- Often difficult to have complete agreement over ideas and solutions
- Organisation difficulties, as it was our second week, none of knew each other, it was difficult to keep track of everything happening.
What I would do differently next time.
become more skilful at digital-based media so that I can be more productive when working as part of a group.
Where could we have improved our resolution:
Of course we could improve on absolutely everything at this stage, but I feel that making a clearer definition of 'Hard Work' in the first place would have enabled us to get off more on the right foot.
strengths of our presentation:
our presentation was clear and concise, displaying quite a professional view of our final idea, allowing our audience to have a good idea of what we were trying to achieve.
